We collect your name, email address, and password hash when you register. When you upload files, we store the file data along with metadata you provide. We also collect basic usage data such as page views and feature usage for service improvement.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to: provide and maintain the Service; authenticate your identity; process and analyze uploaded heritage materials; communicate important updates about the Service; and improve platform functionality and user experience.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure PostgreSQL databases (Neon) and Cloudflare R2 object storage. We use JWT-based authentication with encrypted tokens. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data transmission uses TLS encryption.
Third-Party Services
For analysis features, your uploaded content may be processed by third-party AI services including Groq, Google Gemini, AssemblyAI, and HuggingFace. These services process data according to their respective privacy policies. No personal data beyond the content being analyzed is shared.
Cookies
We use a single authentication cookie (JWT token) to maintain your login session. No tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies are used.
Your Rights
You can: access your uploaded files and account information; download your content at any time; delete your uploaded files; request account deletion by contacting the platform administrators.
Data Retention
Your account data and uploaded files are retained as long as your account is active. Deleted files are removed from storage within 30 days. Account deletion removes all associated data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via the platform.
