Our Mission
The Mangadh Archive is a digital heritage preservation initiative dedicated to safeguarding Gujarat's cultural and historical treasures. Our platform enables researchers, historians, and community members to upload, analyze, and share heritage documents, photographs, manuscripts, maps, audio recordings, and video materials. By leveraging advanced technologies including AI-powered analysis, optical character recognition, named entity recognition, and multilingual translation, we make heritage materials accessible and discoverable for future generations.

Technology
Built with Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Cloudflare R2 for storage. Our analysis pipeline integrates Groq LLaMA, Google Gemini, AssemblyAI for transcription, Tesseract and TrOCR for OCR, and HuggingFace models for NER and translation. The platform also integrates with the Internet Archive for accessing millions of freely available heritage resources.
